Sanofi procurement academy

The Sanofi Procurement Academy is providing training modules specialized in up-skilling Procurement staff to enhance individual and collective performance, aligned to meet business needs and in line with our Procurement strategy.

Our aim is to offer the most inspiring Procurement competency development programs, aligned with the Sanofi Procurement vision of excellence, and be a reference in terms of best-in-class practices within the healthcare industry.

Our objectives in developing our Procurement staff are not limited to the optimization of our spend and working capital, but to strengthen relationships with our key suppliers, streamline procurement processes, sustain high motivation of our professionals, and increase our capability to attract talents. The Procurement Academy provides a large range of segmented training approaches to enable our international population of buyers, experts and managers to meet this goal:

  • key core competencies in line with our business challenges and new emerging technologies,
  • practice-oriented training modules related to behaviors and attitudes in real life situations.

We also pay special attention to enhance the leadership, inter-personal skills and impactful communication of our Country and Category Managers.

By the end of 2013, 800 (out of approximately 1000) Procurement professionals will have participated in these training programs.

In 2014, we will be enlarging our offer to include new e-learning courses and case studies, through distance learning, serious games, interactive blended courses and webinars. Not limited to the following topics, we cover:
