Our professions

We attach great importance to the development of the men and women who make up our Procurement community. Our goal is to position them as true strategic players in service of the strategic and operational performance of Sanofi and each of its businesses.

Our main priorities in terms of talent development are to amplify the leadership and expertise of our employees through Procurement Academy and Group’s training programs.

To stay open and connected to our ecosystem, we regularly compare our practices and processes to businesses that are recognized as “best in class” in their industries, and strengthen our connectivity with our internal partners during business reviews.

We are convinced that collective efficiency is a major advantage and is the guarantor of our ambition. This efficiency is mainly based on a strong organization, processes, and responsibilities that are all clearly defined and transparent.

We are seeking to continually strengthen it through the diversity of our cultures, our profiles, and the observance of gender balance.

We are very mindful of observing a gender balance within our teams, particularly within our management. Our goal is to plan for the candidacy of a woman in the succession plans for key positions within the Procurement organization.

Today, women represent 53% of the Procurement population and 33% of the Procurement leadership team.

We want to make the Procurement function a real learning platform for Sanofi current and future talents by promoting mobility: giving it the possibility to advance towards other jobs within the company, but also to welcome other employees coming in from other functions. We are convinced that our Procurement DNA will become much richer by mixing expertise and experiences.
